Time for something new

A few people have asked me already why I don't have a tumblr-account and that I should consider creating one.
So after many struggles to get used to it, I finally present you my tumblr: nichii-sketches.tumblr.com/

People who are still waiting for their trades and stuff: Be assured that I haven't forgotten about you.
I'm just having a HUGE art block lately. It won't let me draw properly and I really want the pictures to turn out satisfying.
Please bear with me
I watched Inglorious Basterds yesterday...WOW. I don't know whether I liked it or not but Tarantino sure has a different way of dealing with "history". What a bloody mess that movie was O_O
I'm also going to see the Tarzan Musical in Hamburg next week, therefore returning home for a while.
And, my super awesome family already gave me my birthday present...which is: tickets for the Musical Wicked in Stuttgart! I've already seen it once but it was so amazing, that even after two years, I'm still obsessing over it.
I'm incredibly lucky, I know. I love my family
I'm also having a surgery in October, wohoooo!
That's it for the update. Well, was that exciting or what?

How warm is it, where you live?
Summer is finally here and in celebration of that (and the fact that my exams are going to be over in a bit more than a week), I will draw a picture for the first person that makes the right guess on what the temperature will be like where I live, on Sunday! (19th of July)

Life is a damn Roller Coaster

Just when you feel like nothing can change your cheerful mood, something happens that brings you right back down to earth...
About two weeks ago, my dear friend and I got tickets for Disney's Musical "Tarzan" in Hamburg (in September).
Not only were those tickets super cheap (compared to the original price), they also represent seats in the 4th (!!!) row and the first cast is scheduled for the day as well.
We were super hyped about it and all.
Then...on last thursday -after returning from the gym- I noticed that my mother had left me a textmessage on my phone. I was worried and tried to call back...the line was busy.
I took a shower and worried even more...
When I finally got through, my dad had dreadful news for me. My grandfather had died that same morning.
Anyway. I didn't necessarily mean to turn this into some sort of grief journal. Just so you know what's been happening in my life.
I hope that all of your families are well.
Don'r forget to tell them just how much you love and appreciate them. Every time could be the last!

Future Plans

Hi!
A few things regarding my future plans here on deviantART
Maybe some of you have noticed this already: I'm currently cleaning my gallery which basically means that I get rid of pictures I'm tired of seeing.
This includes a lot of Twilight stuff. I hope you won't get mad or anything but I really need a change around here.
I won't post as many Twilight pictures anymore but I'm certainly open to suggestions for new pictures. Also I'd like to know if you're only watching me because of my Twilight stuff...?
Within the next month I hope to draw a few different pictures and I'd like to try taking commissions as well! Let me know if you're interested
